• A person who holds current certification from the International Code

Council (ICC) applicable to the specific inspection being performed for

construction that began before 07/01/04 (valid only until 12/31/05).

• An individual who is registered under AS 08.18 to perform home

inspections for new construction.

• For the purposes of the electrical inspections only, a person who is

approved or certified to perform residential inspections in Alaska by the

International Association of Electrical Inspectors for construction that

began before 07/01/04 (valid only until 12/31/05).
